What is bridal boudoir?

It’s a special kind of photo session just for you, with a bridal vibe.
Think pretty veils, silky robes, or your favorite lingerie, all in soft, flattering light.
It’s romantic and classy, never over-the-top.
It’s a gift for your partner, but also a way to celebrate you.

When should I book my session?

Aim for 6–8 weeks before your wedding.
That gives us time for the shoot, to look at your photos right away, fix them up, and make an album.

I’m not a model and I feel awkward. Can you help?

Don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for!
I’ll guide you through every pose, from your head to your toes.
I’ll show you how to stand, adjust your hands, tilt your chin, or fix your hair.
You just be yourself, I’ll handle the lighting and angles to make you feel confident.

Do I have to take my clothes off?

Not at all!
Bridal boudoir can be soft and romantic with clothes on.
You decide what feels good.
We can use something like your partner’s white shirt for a cozy, intimate look.

What should I wear?

Keep it simple:

• A veil and robe for a romantic, flowy vibe

• A bodysuit or corset for a sleek look

• Something blue or borrowed, like a garter or earrings

• Something of his, like a tie or shirt
  We’ll plan your outfits together. I also have clothes in different sizes at the studio to mix and match.

Where do we take the photos?

Usually in my private Brisbane studio, it’s quiet and the lighting is perfect.
Want a fancy hotel room or an outdoor shot with your veil?
We can make that happen too.

How long does the session take?

Plan for 3–4 hours, including professional hair and makeup.
After, we’ll look at your photos right away while you’re still glowing.
No rush, if we need a few extra minutes to get the perfect shot, we’ll take them.

What’s included on the shoot day?

• Hair and makeup (from soft bridal to bold glam, your choice)

• Guided posing (I’m with you every step)

• A private, relaxed studio (no one else around)

• Same-day photo reveal and ordering

How do you keep things private?

Your photos are super safe, like a locked treasure chest.
Nothing gets shared unless you say it’s okay in writing.
You’ll get a private, password-protected link to see your photos.
Packaging is discreet. If you want it secret until the wedding, we’ll keep it hush-hush.

Will my fiancé know before the wedding?

Only if you want them to!
We can even set up a surprise delivery for the wedding morning, such a fun moment.

What’s the best gift for my partner?

A handmade Fiancé Album (think a sleek Little Black Book) in linen or leather.
It’s classic, small, and super special.
You can also get digital photos if you want both.

How do you edit the photos?

I make them look polished but still like you.
Your skin looks natural, not fake.
I fix temporary things like pimples or bruises, but keep what makes you unique.

I’m worried about bloating or tan lines…

No stress, you’re human, and we’ve got this.
We’ll pose you and use lighting to make you look great.
I’ll edit out small, temporary stuff.
Bring a robe and some water to stay comfy.

Can I bring a friend?

Sure, bring a friend to hype you up during prep.
When we’re shooting, most brides feel better with just us, so the set stays calm and private.

Do you photograph all body types? Even if I’m pregnant?

Yes, absolutely!
Every size, shape, and stage of life is welcome.
If you’re pregnant, we’ll plan the shoot to keep you comfy and highlight your bridal style.

Do you have payment plans?

Yup!
You can pay weekly, every two weeks, or monthly, whatever works for you.
I’ll make it easy to fit your schedule.

What if I’m booking last-minute?

Tell me your wedding date, and we’ll focus on what’s most important.
We can rush editing or deliver an album or digital photos quickly if possible.

What should I bring besides clothes?

Bring your veil, jewelry, shoes, garter, perfume, vow book, or his tie or cufflinks.
Little details like these make your album extra special.

Can we do a darker, dramatic bridal look instead of soft and sweet?

Totally!
