Getting Ready for Your Boudoir Shoot

(And exactly what to expect)

You’ve booked the shoot. Now let’s get you feeling fully prepped, relaxed, and ready to absolutely own it.

What to Bring

Too much is better than too little. Trust me.

  • 2–3 lingerie sets you love. Think corsets, bras, briefs, thongs, and garter belts

  • Heels. Bring a few pairs. The higher, the better. They lengthen your legs like magic

  • Stockings. This one gets forgotten most often, so don’t leave them behind

  • Colours that pop. Black, white, red, deep jewel tones

  • Something personal: a silky robe, your partner’s shirt, a favourite scarf

  • A piece of theirs (if this is a gift): think work uniform, jersey, tie, or tools of their trade

  • Anything sexy or meaningful they’ve gifted you

If you’re not sure what works best, bring a bit of everything. We’ll go through it together and pick your top looks.

Pre-Shoot Prep Tips

A few small things go a long way in helping you look and feel your best:

  • Rinse your hair the night before. Freshly washed hair can be trickier to style

  • Wax or shave 2–3 days before to let your skin calm down

  • Moisturise daily for three days leading up, and bring some along to your shoot

  • Wear loose clothing on the day to avoid red marks, trackies or gym pants are perfect

  • Snip the tags off lingerie

  • If you're colouring your hair, do it a week before, not the night before

  • Skip the spray tan, what looks bronzed in person can look green or orange on camera

  • Pack snacks and water. You’ll be here a few hours and should feel your best throughout

When You Arrive

The second you walk into the studio, your playlist will be waiting. That’s right, we build it around your favourite artists to help you relax and feel at home.

We’ll start by sorting through your outfits and picking our top 2–3 looks. I’ve also got extra accessories in the studio if you want to try something new. Then you’ll settle in for hair and makeup with my beauty pro, who’ll chat through your preferred look, or handle it fully if you’re not sure what you want.

During the makeover, we’ll check in to make sure the glam is exactly right, not too much, not too minimal. If you want changes? No problem, we’ll tweak it until you’re loving it.

During the Shoot

We’ll start with a simple outfit and warm-up poses to get the nerves out. I guide every move, not with stiff instructions, but with flowing actions you can feel natural doing. None of that “left hand here, right foot there” stuff.

Instead, you’ll move slowly, hands up your waist, a glance over your shoulder, a deep breath. We tweak and refine along the way. It’s relaxed, fun, and surprisingly empowering.

After your first outfit, we’ll do a quick touch-up and swap into the next look.

Your Image Reveal

Once the shoot’s done and you’re changing back, I’m already working on your photos. No waiting days or weeks, your image reveal happens same day.

You’ll sit back and watch a slideshow of your best shots on the big screen. Then we’ll go through and pick your favourites. From there, we’ll match you to one of our pre-made collections or build a custom one that fits you perfectly.

Receiving Your Photos

Within a week, you’ll get access to your private online gallery to review your edited images. Once everything looks just right, we send off for print and album production.

Turnaround time? Around 4–8 weeks depending on what you’ve ordered. And yes, they’re so worth the wait.

Ready to feel like the hottest version of yourself? Let’s do this.
Your shoot is about to be unforgettable and so are the photos.
