Why Posing Guidance Changes Everything

One of the most common concerns I hear from women considering boudoir is this: "I won't know what to do. I'll look awkward. I'm not a model."

You don't need to be.

That's my job. And I take it seriously.

Every pose, every angle, every small adjustment. I guide you through all of it. You don't need to arrive with poses memorised or a mental checklist of expressions. You simply need to show up. I handle the rest.

Hannah mentioned that I demonstrate every pose myself before asking her to try it. Her exact words? "Really funny to watch." She's not wrong. There's something inherently absurd about me demonstrating delicate, sensual poses. But it works, because you can see exactly what I'm asking for. And we usually end up laughing, which loosens everything.

Relaxed bodies photograph beautifully.

Samantha appreciated the specific, gentle direction: "He noticed little details, hands, hair, posture, light, and somehow kept the mood easy and fun at the same time." Those details matter. The way your fingers rest, the angle of your chin, where the light falls across your collarbone. I'm watching all of it so you don't have to think about any of it.

Alexis arrived convinced she'd look awkward. She'd spent her life hiding in photos. But with step-by-step guidance, she saw images of herself that made her pause. "Once he showed me the photos on the back of his camera I couldn't believe it was me."

That disbelief is common. And it's why showing you shots throughout the session matters so much. Samantha said, "Seeing a couple of shots on the back of the camera helped me breathe and actually enjoy it."

When you can see that you already look beautiful, your body relaxes. Your expression softens. Your confidence grows quietly. And the photos keep getting better.

Fiona appreciated the same approach: "Very professional and gave great advice for posing for nice photos." Grace called it "next level" compared to other photographers she'd worked with: "He guided every pose and hyped me up like only my best friends can."

I've done this hundreds of times. I know which angles flatter, which poses feel natural, and how to bring out your best, even when you're convinced you don't have a good side.

You don't need to be a model. You just need to trust the process.

By the end, you'll wonder why you were ever worried.
