What to Bring to Your Boudoir Shoot (That You Might Not Think Of)
Outfits? Check. Lingerie? Sorted. But there are a few little extras that can take your boudoir session from “pretty” to damn, that’s stunning.
Here’s what to toss in your bag to keep things comfy, relaxed, and totally flawless.
Shapewear (Optional, But Handy)
If you like a bit of smoothing or shaping, bring your favourite comfy shapewear. It’s great for creating clean lines under silk robes or fitted pieces. Bonus: it gives you extra support between outfit changes.
Heels
Even if you’re not wearing them in every shot, a killer pair of heels does wonders for your posture and makes your legs look next-level. Choose a pair that makes you feel sexy and that you can actually walk in, no Bambi wobble needed.
Accessories
A bold necklace, delicate rings, or even a wide-brim hat can bring personality to your photos. Accessories also give you something to play with in your poses, which helps you feel more confident and less “where-do-I-put-my-hands.”
Water + Light Snacks
Yes, boudoir shoots are fun,but they also take energy. Keep yourself hydrated and bring something light to nibble on (fruit, nuts, or a granola bar). No one feels sexy when they’re running on empty.
Music
Got a playlist that makes you feel like that girl? Bring it. Music helps set the vibe, ease nerves, and get you into your flow. We’ve got a sound system ready, just cue it up and let’s vibe.
Self-Tanner (If That’s Your Thing)
If you want that sun-kissed glow, self-tan a few days before your shoot. Just go light, exfoliate first, and skip the streaky stuff. Confidence looks better than orange ankles.
