What Really Happens During a Boudoir Shoot

Nervous about getting in front of the camera? Totally normal. But once you know what to expect, that fear fades fast. Here’s exactly how your boudoir session at Belle-Vous unfolds from the first chat to unwrapping your finished album.

Step 1: Let’s Chat

We start with a quick consult, either over coffee or a 15–30 minute call. You tell me your vision, I answer your questions, and we chat wardrobe, deadlines, and budget. No surprises, no stress.

Ready to book? Lock in your date with a session fee. Planning a surprise shoot for someone? I’ll even help you come up with a solid cover story.

Step 2: Shoot Day

Arrive comfy, bag of outfits in hand, and head straight to the makeup chair. My glam team will create a look that feels exactly like you natural, full-glam, or somewhere in between.

You can bring as many outfits as you want. We’ll help you choose the best 2–3 looks, then if you’re feeling bold, finish with a few tasteful implied nudes.

The studio is completely private. Lighting is flattering. No audience, no pressure. And yes, I demo every pose (even the bendy ones) so you’ll never feel awkward or unsure. We’ll cue the music, pop some bubbles if you like, and laugh our way through it.

Step 3: The Big Reveal

Most clients choose a same-day reveal. You take a break, grab a coffee, then come back to see your best images in a cinematic slideshow on the big screen. Travelling? We can do it online too.

You’ll pick only the images you love. No pushy sales talk. Just real reactions and maybe a few happy tears.

Step 4: Choose Your Artwork

Go digital with à-la-carte images or level up to a custom album, folio box, or wall art. Everything comes fully retouched (think skin polish, subtle shaping, perfect tones still totally you, just enhanced).

Pay in full or break it up with a flexible, zero-interest payment plan. Your shoot, your pace.

Step 5: Pickup Day

Once your order’s ready, we’ll let you know. Come in to unwrap your album, prints, or wall art and see yourself the way everyone else does… only hotter.

Albums and gift pieces come wrapped and ready. Digitals are delivered via secure download, easy to access anytime.
