Hi, I’m Matt. The Brisbane boudoir photographer behind Belle-Vous and the guy with golden lab hair probably stuck to my shirt (you’ve met Samson, right?). Since 2014, I’ve photographed more than 550 women who once said, “I could never” and left saying, “That’s going on my wall.”

Boudoir isn’t about looking like a magazine model. It’s about feeling like your most powerful self, even if you walked in nervous and wondering if you’re “doing it right.”

Here, you get:

That’s what being a Brisbane boudoir photographer is really about.

Before Belle-Vous, I worked in a high-volume “glamour” studio. Same cookie-cutter poses. Same rushed sessions. Same pushy sales script at the end.

That experience lit a fire under me. I didn’t want to run a studio that treated women like transactions.

So in 2014, I started Belle-Vous Boudoir Photography with one goal:
A relaxed, personalised boudoir experience that puts confidence first and sales tactics last.

Because you’re not just a number. You’re not just a set of poses.
You’re a real person with a real story that deserves to be celebrated.

What It’s Like to Shoot With Me

First five minutes? We chat, sip tea, coffee or maybe some bubbly, and let the nerves melt.

1. Posing? I guide you every step, demonstrate it myself, explain the why, and hype you like it’s your runway debut.

2. Vibe? Sultry R&B meets 90s girl-power anthems with the occasional awkward dance break.

3. Goal? You walk out taller, brighter, and a little in love with yourself.

Favourite “OMG That’s Me!” Moments

Tears + Cheers: A quiet client burst into tears, then shouted “HELL YES!” at her photos.

Bestie FaceTime: One client called her best friend mid-shoot. “I’m actually doing it!” Cue squeals and joy.

Sixtieth Birthday Shoot: She booked it to celebrate herself. Left planning a tattoo. Icon.

Army-Crawl Angle: I literally slid across the floor to get the perfect shot. Her laugh? That became the best shot of the day.

1. Collection of 40+ vintage cameras; oldest is a 1910 Kodak.
